Welcome to Rusticana, our Hunting Farm in Namibia, Africa.
Rusticana has a hunting area of nearly 20.000 acres (8.000 hectare).
A professional hunting guide will assist you during your stay and will guide you to your requested game.
A special tracker as well as helpers will always be at your request to make your stay an absolute remembrance.
We also offer hunting on other hunting farms to provide you option, to hunt special species” of your wish,
which is not available on Rusticana.
If you have a special request for game that is not hunted on Rusticana, we have special agreements with neighbouring farms that have exotic game available for your hunting experience.
The hunting season in Namibia stretches from 1 February until 30 November.
Individual Hunting Methods
Stalking:
This Hunting method will be personalised to your wishes and needs and we keep your personal condition
as well as your preferences in mind. According to the trophy of your choice, the hunt will be done by
stalking on foot, from a hide or from a hunting vehicle, depending on your personal condition or wish.
Our target is to guide you to mature and old trophies in an unforgettable hunting safari experience.
Reduction Hunt:
The permanently increasing number of game forces us to find alternatives to avoid an over population.
Rusticana therefore offers the hunters the chance to participate in this process of regulation. The
main target for the reduction hunt is the hunting experience, not the top trophy. Going this way, we
can offer the hunt on a bigger amount of game (non trophies) for reasonable prices.
According to the Namibian law, these trophies are not allowed for export. But if you wish to home one
of these trophies, we can apply for a special trophy permit. The hunt for a trophy will be charged
according to our "Trophy Price List". As you can see, it is possible to combine the trophy hunt and
the reductions hunt without a problem to give you the hunting experience of a lifetime.

Please bring along:
Clothing
Light dressing from cotton in decent colours as well as already used light boots, which will protect you from
thorns and grass seed are recommended. For the cooler or cold mornings during winter we recommend a warm jersey
or parka. A hat, insect repellent, sun glasses and a sun protection creme are also important. We also offer a
washing service for your clothing.
Rifles and ammunition
Best for the hunt are rifles with the calibr 7 x 64; 30-06; 8 x 68; 9.3 x 64, 7mm Remington Magnum, .300 und .270 Win. Mag.,
approx. 60 rounds of ammunition, your rifle licence and binoculars.
Import papers
At your arrival at Hosea Kutako International Airport, a declaration about your rifle has to be filled in. Here you need
the address of your hunting farm. You will get a temporary license for your rifle which has to be handed back to the
authorities on your departure.
Liability:
We recommend that every hunting client should provide for his own adequate travel insurance (luggage, accident etc.), as
we are not liable for losses or accidents. We want to assure our prospect hunting clients, that we will take utmost care
to ensure the safety of our clients at all times.
